Photographer: reportage, fashion and portraits

I photograph people, places and what happens there. At sea, off the coast of Finistère or on the quays of Port-en-Bessin, with food producers and craftspeople, at festivals and concerts. In fashion and portraiture, mostly in natural light. It's the same eye as in my films, in still images: patience, listening, and the wish to show people as they are.

A documentary approach

My work as a documentary filmmaker also shapes the way I take photographs. Before I take out the camera, I take the time to meet people and understand their work, their place and their rhythm. I don't stage the scene: I watch and I wait for the right moment, the right light, the right gesture.

On location, I keep a low profile and adapt, whether I'm on the deck of a sailing boat, in the middle of a field or in front of a concert stage. The images that come out of it don't just illustrate: they tell a story, with real people and real moments.

For destinations, institutions and brands

Tourist offices, local authorities, non-profits or businesses: I create photo series for your website, your social media, the press or your campaigns. A craft, a season, an event, a place, portraits of your teams or a new collection.

The photos can accompany a video shoot, on the same day and with the same art direction, or be commissioned separately. Your photos and your films echo each other, from your website to your posts.
