Fiction Director

I also love writing and directing my own projects. Through fiction, I try to draw on my imagination and my convictions to bring sensitive, offbeat characters to life. Fiction has a real power, and I like to use it to take the audience to new places and new ways of thinking, through joy and emotion. Based in Lille, I can also travel to Paris, Brittany (Rennes) and elsewhere in France for fiction projects.

Les Écailles grew out of that wish. The series follows Saratou, Inès and Sacha, three young employees at a neighbourhood bistro, with their unsociable hours, their need to belong and to be recognised. The first two instalments, Le Réveil and then Le C·Rush, are online, and two more are on the way. Le C·Rush is produced by Just Kidding, in coproduction with Pictanovo, with music by Devos & Lisowski.

I love every stage where a story comes to life: the writing, working with the actors, the set, then the edit, where everything gets played out one last time.
